A little photoshop
On the way back from the new Italian restaurant we came across these children playing on the sand that soon no doubt will be part of another block of apartments in this BBK 1 area. An area full of NGO workers and coffee shops. Notice that should these kids take a flying leap in the direction of the road they will have to contend with that truck full of gasoline. Sand pits , parks or forests. Where can these urban kids play?
Saw these in the market and snapped with 35mm @ 1.4
Now if I had said say cheese and smile would they have ? No. Every single person in the picture is unhappy about something and I think it has something to do with a market stall doing the dirty on them. Even the little girl is unhappy. Maybe the fresh crab for new year was rotten? Who knows. But the SE X-E1 did capture the moment and the camera was not seen.
This is a more natural looking shot in my view.
Real teething problems here. The washed out back ground works but was a fluke. It works. In honesty can not see the difference in this shot and some with the X10. Actually the x10 was better.
In the back alleyways away from the traffic strewn roads little communities thrive. There is little privacy and plenty of gossip. Why even have a bedroom? Shove your grandmother out on the street. Shops, markets and street food. Great for photography. Taken with the X10 in the good old days before the SE X-E1.
